I’ve been active in the hairdressing industry for over 9 years, and becoming a hairstylist has been my dream for as long as I can remember. What started as a passion grew into a journey that has now come full circle. Navy Studio is located on the Weteringschans, a place that holds a very special meaning to me.

This is where I began my journey at Nederlands kappers akademie, where I later worked at Het Haartheater, and where I have now returned with my very own salon. Opening Navy Studio here truly feels like a dream come true.
With my huge passion for hair and my creative spirit, I love making every client leave the salon with confidence and a smile. Whether you’re looking for subtle babylights, a full balayage or a signature haircut. I’m here to create a look that brings out the absolute best in you. I work with a lot of passion and joy. I get inspired by nature, art, the people I meet, social media and other hairstylists. Their innovative techniques and artistic approaches helpt me to refine and renew my skills.
One of the most important things to me is that you feel comfortable in my chair. My daily mission is to make you feel confident and I will ensure you that every treatment will be a personal experience.
When I’m not in the salon, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, discovering new restaurants, going for drinks and traveling to beautiful destinations.

I’ve been working as a hairdresser for over 17 years. Growing up in a small town in the north of the Netherlands, I always dreamed of a world filled with hair and fashion. That dream started to become reality when I began modeling while I was still in hairdressing school. Those two worlds collided, and I never looked back.

I’ve been behind the chair for over 13 years, and one of the things I love most about my work is building genuine relationships with my clients. I want every appointment to feel relaxed, collaborative, and tailored to you, whether we’re making a subtle change or planning a complete transformation.
Originally from South Carolina, I moved to the Netherlands with my husband and our cats and have loved building a life here. Outside the salon, you’ll usually find me exploring somewhere new, getting lost in a good book, or planning our next weekend adventure. I love beautiful spaces, thoughtful design, live music, and all the little things that make Amsterdam feel like home.
